Roadmap

What we are developing. One core competence and one intelligence layer, both reaching past oil and gas.

In development

Four things in development

[01]

Compact CO2 capture

FEED done

75,000 t/yr district heating case

[02]

BTEX removal

Selected for a DeepStar JIP

Compact BTEX removal for produced water

[03]

One-stage tower

Next generation, patented

Skyfri SSI

CO2 capture

Tested at pilot scale

200,000

tonnes of CO2 a year, the design aim for offshore gas turbines

Minox is developing a compact CO2 capture system, tested at pilot scale with the University of South-Eastern Norway, Repsol Norge and ProSep. The technology has no rotating equipment.

Pilot rig at the University of South-Eastern Norway

Four months of operation, promising capture rates

Next: scale testing at an emission source

Produced water · Tertiary treatment

Polish out dissolved BTEX as the final treatment stage

Hydrocyclones and flotation remove oil, but dissolved aromatics pass straight through. A Minox BTEX unit added as a tertiary stage takes them out before discharge or reinjection.
